Second of all, welcome to the Halloween Costume Post! This year Team Aars went as Deadliest Catch. For those of you who don’t watch it, you won’t get it. For those who do? You will. That’s my favorite kind of costume (the kind that makes you think).
I went as Captain Phil, from the Cornelia Marie. And Michael, well… is one large King Crab. He’s quite the catch, isn’t he?
What? Is there something on my face? Why are you looking at me like that…
preparing the pumpkin seeds for toasting
So maybe the neighbors walked by as Michael was outlining me in chalk, and just maybe I burst out into hysterical laughter. I swear they think we are crazy. Worth it, though- for an awesome glow in the dark crime scene outline.
Hershey, confined from trick-or-treater chaos, much to her disliking
Much happier, after the porch lights went off. And ok, after a few treats
We had a great and busy Halloween weekend, but we managed to pack it all in. Hope you had a great one too. Til next year!
Happy Dia de Los Muertos!
Thank you all for your many prayers over the past weekend. My mom is doing better and expected to fly home tomorrow evening. I CAN’T WAIT to see her and hug her. I love you, Mom.
