Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Ok, ok- so I am a little late on the pictures. In fact, I feel like I am a little late on everything so far this year.

On January 4th, I started my new position as Creative Worship Director for the Cornerstone Community at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Nickname: Worship Director. From now on I am in charge of ‘everything worship’; from set design and video production– to worship order, graphic design and publicity. I run the show from A-Z (scary, isn’t it?). It’s been a bit crazy to say the least. My personal apologies to all of you that have left voicemails/emails for me in the past week. Despite how it may seem, I am alive. And no, I have NOT been placed in the witness protection program.

So even though I am a slight bit delayed… here’s hoping you and yours had a great one!

We had a lovely Christmas at home. The slow pace was quite a change from the previous weeks in Israel and Egypt. Quite frankly, it took us most of the holiday to recover from the jet lag. We are getting our pictures in order, and will be posting some soon. In the meantime, here’s our life in pictures (from the past two weeks anyways).

I am not only VERY excited for you about your new job, but very impressed with your decorating. We were gone for only one week and couldn’t manage to decorate…you were gone for 3 and your house looks straight out of a magazine.

Congrats on the new position, Alli! And I can only imagine how hard you guys crashed over your holidays.

Can’t wait to see the pics (but take your time – knowing you both, there will be some incredible slideshow or something).
